Take 1 pouch (6 capsules and 1 tablet) daily with food and a full glass of water, or as recommended by your healthcare provider. Spreading out the capsules to 2 capsules 3 times a day can help when keeping food down is a challenge.

Advanced Prep is not recommended for women with a history of hormonal cancer or estrogen-sensitive conditions like endometriosis or PCOS. Check with your doctor before starting supplementation. Discontinue use after a positive pregnancy test and switch to Advanced Prenatal. Read the insert for full indications and contraindications.

Avoid use with other multivitamin supplements and blood-thinning medications. Folic acid in doses above 1,000 mcg daily may obscure pernicious anemia. Check with your physician. Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fetal poisoning in children under 6. In case of accidental overdose, call a doctor or poison control center immediately. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Pregnant or nursing mothers, children under 18, and individuals with known medical conditions should consult their physician before using this or other dietary supplement.

Learn More

What is it?

Choline is an organic, water-soluble compound similar to B vitamins that play multiple essential roles in the normal functioning of the body.

Why is it needed?

The body needs choline for metabolism, structural integrity of cells, cell membrane signaling, regulation of gene expression, and nervous system functions. Humans cannot produce sufficient amounts of choline and need it from diet.

How does it work on a cellular level?

Choline is an important methyl donor necessary in many metabolic processes. Choline is a component of phospholipids, needed for cell membranes, and acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter for memory, mood, and other nervous system functions.

Why is it important for preconception health?

Choline, together with folate, supports the baby’s brain development. Healthy maternal choline levels have been associated with the prevention of neural tube defects*.

What is it?

DHEA is a natural hormone precursor produced in adrenal glands. In both men and women, DHEA is converted into androgens (testosterone) in the body.

Why is it needed?

Studies have found that both DHEA and testosterone levels decline as women age. Women with low ovarian reserve are also more likely to be low on testosterone.

How does it work on a cellular level?

DHEA is converted into testosterone, which has affinity to the androgen receptors on the surface of granulosa cells - the cells that support and nurture the growing eggs.

Why is it important for fertility?

DHEA helps women maintain healthy androgen levels, and it supports the health of the ovaries, where eggs go through the maturation process before ovulation*. Furthermore, when examining supplements for egg quality, DHEA is a noteworthy consideration due to its potential benefits.
